Kitchen Hand/Cook

About the role:

Cooking food made to order with food hygiene standards being followed at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be familiar with the use of electrical equipment in the kitchen and observe safety precautions when using them.

  • Prepare menu items whilst maintaining portion control and minimising wastage

  • Ensure customer orders are fulfilled.

  • Maintain high food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

  • Clean and maintain all equipment within the kitchen area.

  • Report any hazards, unsafe working conditions or equipment which requires repair or maintenance to a supervisor.



  • Ability to work effectively and contribute to a team

  • Self-motivated

  • Reliable

  • Good communication skills

Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience/working in a similar role

  • Food Hygiene

  • Oral proficiency in English language


Working Hours:

  • TBC

  • No weekends


All relevant training will be provided.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: £10.50-£12.50 per hour depending on experience
